PathworQ is a queer affinity group within the larger Pathwork spiritual community: a safe and brave space for LGBTQIA+ members to study internalized queerphobia within the Self, the queer community, and the dominant culture of heteronormativity.

What is Pathwork?
Pathwork is a body of practical spiritual wisdom dedicated to deepening your connection with yourself, others, and Spirit. It’s a journey toward the Real Self that moves through the layers of defense, denial, and fear that keep us from living fully.
Its origins trace back to 1957, when a woman named Eva Pierrakos began channeling a series of spiritual teachings through a presence known simply as "the Guide." What started as an intimate gathering of friends grew over two decades into a comprehensive and transformative body of work, known today as the Pathwork Guide Lectures.
Eva continued this work until her death in 1979, and her teachings remain a rich and enduring resource for anyone committed to the path of inner transformation.

PathworQ offers several ways to engage with this work, whether you are just beginning or ready to go deeper. We gather monthly as a community to explore our longings and the blocks that stand between us and living them fully.
For those called to more intensive work, we offer bi-monthly weekend intensives that move through the full arc of personal and collective transformation. We also support straight allies in doing their own inner work, helping them become more grounded and effective partners in collective healing.
What is an Affinity Group?
An affinity group is a gathering of people who share a common experience of marginalization (race, gender, sexuality, etc). The intention of this group is to provide a safe space to explore healing, education, activism without the weathering experience of the dominant voice (needing to educate, defend, etc).
The intention of an affinity group is NOT to create long-term separation from the dominant group but to build the skills to come together. This will be a dance of dominant & marginalized affinity groups holding space separately and then coming together productively in a larger mixed group to collaborate on action plans of creating equity.
This process is known as “Praxis,” developed by the great Brazilian educator and liberator Paolo Freire, who created The Pedagogy of the Oppressed.

Monthly Gatherings

An ongoing monthly space for the PathworQ community to come together in exploration and connection. Each gathering is an opportunity to look honestly at clearing the blocks that stand in the way of manifesting our longings. We do this both as individuals and as a collective.

Bi-Monthly Intensives
March - July 2027
A deeper dive for those ready to do more sustained inner work. Using the characterology model, we move through the full arc of what it means to be a queer community — exploring safety, nourishment, individuation, trust, and ultimately stepping into our unique callings as leaders of transformation.

Straight Allyship Program
Starting Feb 2027
An offering for straight allies committed to going beyond surface level support. In small groups, participants do the inner work of transforming internalized queerphobia and building the skills to show up as genuine, grounded partners in collective transformation.

Jodi has been a practicing therapist since 2002. She also teaches, and has facilitated personal transformation programs for over twenty years. Jodi is deeply committed to her own personal growth and conscious awakening. Tending to her own longing enables her to authentically help others on their journey. Jodi’s mission is to empower people to live in accordance with their own truth, love, and core essence. She lives in Portland, Oregon.

Ky Scott has spent thirty years at the intersection of spiritual transformation and social justice. He trained for seven years with NASA astrophysicist Barbara Brennan, became a certified Pathwork Helper, and earned his MEd (focused study in Equity Education) from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. His life's work is rooted in a single belief: that personal transformation and collective healing are inseparable.
